Elementary Student Council Inauguration

OSIS or Student Council normally exists in the middle school. But for the students at BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Serpong, the elementary students are introduced to and taught to be in an organization which will develop their leadership and social skills.

The inauguration of young leaders from BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Serpong for 2013/2014 was held at the ECY/EL main library. The auspicious occasion was attended by the School Management and Parent Support Group Executive Officers of the ECY/EL along with the  parents of the Student Council Officers and Honorary Members, several teachers and EL students from the third to the sixth grades.

It is expected that the Student Council inauguration will usher the students to do more positive contributions for the school. The students are motivated to do initiatives to move the school forward through academic and affective aspects. One example is, they are encouraged to do activities for charity through the ‘Adopt a School Programme’, which can help other students in need.

As a whole, the Student Council is one of the ways by which the school realizes its vision on Innovative Leadership.

Congratulations to the newly appointed Student Council of the EL BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Serpong! (Baby Maria)
