Sabbatical Days (After Exam Activities) at BINUS SCHOOL Serpong
A Kurdish proverb says, “The root of all health is in the brain. The trunk of it is in emotion. The branches and leaves are the body. The flower of health blooms when all parts work together”. Sabbatical days are after exam activities held to balance students’ emotional and physical health after a hectic exam period.
This May Sabbaticals, BINUS SCHOOL Serpong held various activities to exercise students’ talents through hand drill, sports, art, dance, digital workshop, and even cooking competition. Students’ excitement can be seen through the crowd’s cheers and laughter to support their favorite teams. Even the Serpong heat could not stop our students in having a great sabbatical fun.
There was the art auction in which students, parents, teachers, and staff members joined in to appreciate the students’ hard work and creativity. Approximately 4.5 million rupiahs was raised – 60% of which will go to the artist while 40% will be donated to charity. There too was an exhibit of students’ masterpiece paintings paraded along the school corridor. A lot of inspirational and unique paintings got the attention of the school community.
The mood was very relaxing which sets the tone for the coming semester break. It was a fun-filled, recreational and activity-packed Sabbaticals!
