ECY – EL’s Mahapatih Gajah Mada School Production
Months of practice paid off. The Early Childhood Years and Elementary’s Mahapatih Gajah Mada school production went very well. The main purpose of this school production is for students, parents, teachers and staff to work tightly together as a community, as a family. A group of 213 talented and passionate students, 147 hard-working teachers and staff along with 33 supportive parents were committed to create an enchanting experience for everyone.
The story enriched with values and aligned with the BINUS Vision, Mahapatih Gajah Mada, which is an original fiction written by BINUS teachers inspired by one of Indonesia’s National Heroes, Gajah Mada, a symbol of patriotism and national unity inspired and captured the hearts of everyone. The story tells us about his journey from his humble beginnings as an ordinary person and as he became a powerful leader that led Majapahit to glory. His leadership and hard work are portrayed in the story, that shows his success to overcome all challenges to be able to reach his dream to unite Nusantara. It tells how one can make a difference because of his great love for his country.
We proudly appreciate the richness and beauty of Indonesian culture shown through our students’ talents in acting, dancing, playing angklung and drum band choir, taekwondo and visual arts.
