Innovation & Sustainability through Hydroponic Farming

After 3 years of dreaming about having a hydroponic plant system in the school, finally the dream came true. For the first time, today, our students harvested their hydroponic plants then ate them together.

The students were very happy & loved the veggies. “This is one of our sustainability projects and also an innovation. Sustainability is the thing we need to work on for our children’s education now,” said Ms. Elsie L. Bait, our beloved ECY-EL Principal. We plan to add more of these to be able to harvest more for our students.

The students planted the veggies together with their teachers. Hopefully by doing this, we can inspire the students to do it at home with their families. We need to inspire the community to be healthier and sustainable.
