Internationalism Week – Celebrate Diversity

Diversity is an action, inclusivity is a culture, and belonging is a feeling. Diversity isn’t just about gender or race, it’s also about background and mindset. Malcom Forbes once said, “Diversity is the art of thinking independently together.”

Today is the culmination of Internationalism Week, though celebrated virtually has not extinguished the  very spirit of diversity. A plethora of activities from competitions, orchestra & choir performances, and PSG performances were showcased. Ms. Sherrie, our MSHS Principal encouraged us to open our cameras, “there is no need to be ashamed whether we are beautiful or not because this is who we are. Looks should not prevent you from growing & interacting. Differences are beautiful,” she said.

Diversity is about acceptance. It’s about living together and going beyond tolerance. Differences are what make this world beautiful.
