Duty of Care

Educators and staff at BINUS are in a unique position to observe students closely and to notice when a child may be at risk. All members of the BINUS community share a duty of care and are expected to act when a concern arises. This includes teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, helpers, drivers, security personnel, and students themselves.

Reporting a Concern

If you suspect a child may be at risk of harm, it is your duty to report it, whether you are a member of staff, a student, a parent, or a member of the wider community. Concerns can be reported openly or anonymously, and confidentiality is protected to the fullest extent appropriate.
