Wellbeing Programme

We believe that wellbeing is foundational to learning. Students learn best when they feel safe, known, valued, and supported, and our responsibility extends beyond academic achievement to supporting the development of the whole child.

From Early Years through Secondary School, we work to create an environment where students can develop confidence, resilience, positive relationships, independence, and a strong sense of belonging.

Wellbeing is not the responsibility of one department or one person. It is a shared commitment across our school community involving teachers, counsellors, school leaders, students, and families.

A Whole-School Approach to Wellbeing

Our approach brings together student wellbeing, academic support, behaviour, safeguarding, and personal development so that students receive coordinated and appropriate support throughout their school journey.

We use a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) to help us identify student needs early and provide different levels of support depending on the individual student.

For some students, this may simply mean the strong relationships, routines, and learning support available to all students. Others may benefit from additional small-group support, counselling, academic intervention, behavioural support, enrichment, or a more individualised plan.

Our goal is simple: to provide the right support, at the right time, for every student.

Our Commitment

Our goal is not simply for students to achieve academically. We want them to grow into confident, compassionate, resilient, and responsible young people who understand themselves, care for others, and have the skills to navigate both opportunities and challenges.

By placing wellbeing at the heart of our school, we help every student feel capable, connected, supported, and ready to thrive.
