BINUS SCHOOL Education Hosts Harvard Crimson Scholars Program to Develop Future Leaders
BINUS SCHOOL Education continues to innovate in its teaching methods to provide new learning experiences, particularly in developing communication skills, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Recently, BINUS SCHOOL Education, through its BINUS SCHOOL Serpong campus, is hosting the Harvard Crimson Scholars Program, partnering with Learn with Leaders, focused on leadership, communication, and solution generation in five days (16 Jan-20 Jan 2023).
33 BINUS SCHOOL Education students from Simprug, Serpong, and Bekasi are taking part in a program featuring a variety of activities such as workshops, discussions, and debates, all under the guidance of students from Harvard University.
In his opening speech, Mr. Michael Wijaya Hadipoespito, the President of BINUS SCHOOL Education, said that this program is being conducted to provide students with the skills they need to become future leaders who will have a positive impact on society.
“I hope this can be the foundation for them to become future leaders, where they will be able to contribute a lot to society in the future,” Mr. Michael said.
Michael also added that the mentors from Harvard University can also serve as connections for the students to have global connections, specifically with Harvard University.
Ms. Sherrierose Garcia Gonzales, the Principal of Middle and High School BINUS SCHOOL Serpong, stated that the students will be given global issues to study and work on solutions together.
“It’s a program that combines academic, social, and emotional learning, so the kids become stronger and more open-minded when they finish the program,” Ms. Sherrie added.
