Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that disrupted the first two school years, Benetta felt great accomplishment and happiness after successfully graduating from ECY 3 at BINUS SCHOOL Serpong.

The journey had been challenging for the students, parents, school and teachers because the teaching and learning activities had to be conducted online. However, the school and teachers had effectively adapted the curriculum and technologies to suit the student’s needs in an online setting so Benetta could #DiscoverNewHorizons in her early education.

The three-year journey at BINUS SCHOOL Serpong had its challenges. The pandemic added a layer of difficulty, making the experience even more challenging. Benetta’s mother, Mrs. Djie Merie, was worried their child would miss out on valuable learning experiences and struggle to interact with classmates. But to their pleasant surprise, the teachers at BINUS SCHOOL Serpong were dedicated. They made extra efforts to engage the students with organized various interactive activities and fun discussions, ensuring that the students didn’t feel isolated and could develop their social skills.

“As the school gradually transitioned to offline classes in the third year, I witnessed remarkable growth in my daughter,” said Mrs. Djie Merie. 

 “From being shy and introverted, Benetta began to blossom and exhibit improved socialisation skills.” Mrs. Djie Merie further explained that the teachers’ and classmates’ support and encouragement played a significant role in this positive transformation.

 Benetta, too, felt a deep sense of achievement and satisfaction. Graduating from ECY 3 marked the beginning of new horizons for Benetta. With a solid educational foundation, the young student was ready to explore and discover further knowledge and opportunities.

 The experience at BINUS SCHOOL Serpong had not only provided Benetta with academic growth but had also instilled resilience, adaptability, and the importance of community. Armed with these invaluable life skills, Benetta was well-equipped to face future challenges and embrace new adventures.

 As Benetta embarked on the next chapter of their educational journey, the experiences at BINUS SCHOOL Serpong would forever remain cherished, reminding them of the strength and determination that can be found even in the most difficult times.
