At BINUS SCHOOL Serpong, we believe in nurturing our students’ talents and inspiring them to pursue their passions. That’s why we were thrilled to invite George Harliono, a young and talented British-Indonesian pianist, to our school in the, Sharing the Joy of Music,” event on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

This event was a collaboration between BINUS SCHOOL and Yamaha Music to introduce classical music to the younger generation, aiming to encourage students to develop their musical talents and appreciate the beauty of classical works.

Performing several classical compositions, George mesmerized and captivated hundreds of BINUSIANS.

The Secondary School Principal of BINUS SCHOOL Serpong, Corey D. Allison, hopes that the performance of George will inspire students to explore their talents, helping them reach their highest aspirations.

“Beyond being entertaining, George’s performance can serve as an inspiration for students to continue honing their musical talents,” Corey said.

A similar appreciation was expressed by our Early Years & Primary School Principal of BINUS SCHOOL Serpong, Mariza Agnes T. Lardizabal. She noted that this event served as a valuable learning experience for students, especially when introduced at an early age.

“Students will cherish beautiful memories from seeing and hearing the inspiring journey of one of today’s best pianists. Hopefully, this will inspire a new generation of musicians,” said Mariza.

George himself expressed his joy at being able to visit BINUS SCHOOL Serpong to share his love for classical music with students and parents. He believes that music has the power to bring people together.

“I hope my performance can inspire more young people to delve into the world of classical music,” said George.

In addition to delivering an outstanding musical performance, George also shared his journey and concluded with a Q&A session, where students and parents engaged with him directly.

George Harliono’s visit to BINUS SCHOOL Serpong is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting students’ talents.

We will continue to nurture students’ abilities—not only in music but also in academics, the arts, and sports—so that each student can make a meaningful impact on the nation and society through their continuously honed talents.
