Meet Oliver from Grade 4C, a young mathematician whose passion and perseverance have led him to remarkable achievements. This year, Oliver proudly brought home the Gold Medal at the World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand.

On exam day, Oliver admits he was nervous. The questions were challenging, but he reminded himself to keep going and never give up. His determination paid off, he earned the gold medal once again, having also won gold in the previous year’s WMI.

But Oliver isn’t stopping there. With eyes set on the future, he’s aiming even higher:

“Next year, I’m hoping for another gold medal, or maybe even the diamond medal so I can achieve the legendary award”

His journey in mathematics doesn’t end with WMI. Oliver has actively joined numerous competitions, including AMO, SEAMO, JISMO, and many more. In total, he has participated in 10 competitions and proudly earned over 20 medals and certificates combined. Each challenge, big or small, has shaped his skills, confidence, and love for problem-solving.

Oliver’s story is a shining example of how resilience, curiosity, and the joy of learning can take students to great heights. At BINUS SCHOOL Serpong, we are proud to celebrate not only his achievements but also the growth and character he demonstrates through every step of his journey.
