The House System at BINUS SCHOOL Serpong is designed to foster camaraderie, citizenship, and a strong sense of belonging among students, families, and staff. Through this system, students learn what it means to be responsible members of a school community while developing pride in their identity and contributions.

Students are guided to become responsible citizens by:

  • Understanding and living out the BINUS S.P.I.R.I.T. values and IB Learner Profile*
  • Participating responsibly in school activities
  • Maintaining high standards of conduct, effort, and commitment throughout the year

Each student is assigned to one of four Houses, creating smaller communities within the school. Through healthy competition in sports, cultural events, and social activities, students learn teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship while strengthening school spirit across year levels.

The Houses are represented by animal symbols, chosen for the positive traits they embody. Animals have long been associated with values such as courage, resilience, focus, and vitality — qualities that align closely with our affective education programme.

House of the Brave Eagles House of the Mighty Sharks House of the Roaring Tigers House of the Fighting Bears
Represents courage, leadership, and high aspirations. Symbolizes focus, agility, and strategic thinking. Reflects passion, energy, and determination to excel. Embodies resilience, unity, and perseverance.

By identifying with their House, students are encouraged to develop these positive attributes in their academic, social, and personal growth.
